Please help us design a better surf-park for everyone.
Take a couple minutes and complete this survey.

If you would like to make general comments and suggestions please contact us.

1) If you were a private member, and could have three exclusive hours to surf a day, would you be more apt to be able to surf from?

2) Given the opportunity to surf every single day, how many days a week do you really think you could take advantage of it?

3) If you had an option, as a public user, would you prefer to buy an unlimited all day pass or purchase a specific number of waves at a time?

4) What would your preference be... a larger wave height or a longer ride?

5) What's your pick between clear, clorinated fresh water and natural salt water and the increased bouyancy that comes with it?

6) Taking into consideration that it has never been made available, and given the extreme costs associated with designing, building and operating a surf-park, if you had to make your best educated guess and have no data to base your guess on, how much do you think a 'per wave' charge would be?
(i.e. $1.00)

7) If Surf City Texas has other ammenities and attractions available for non surfing guests, ( i.e. beach and lagoon out of the surf zones, restaurants, shade areas, shopping, etc) how many family members and/or friends, on the average, might accompany you?

8) If it was down to one or the other, would you prefer fewer waves with clean and calm conditions or a larger number of waves with somewhat choppy conditions?

9) Specifically from a surfer's standpoint, and not including the waves themselves, what two other ammenities would you like to see made available to you at SCT?
1.
2.

10) If the three membership options were: a full unlimited access membership, a weekday membership, or a weekend membership, which option would best suit YOUR needs and schedule?

11) As a private member, and choosing between the two, would you rather have exclusive hours to surf every day without public crowds, or have a specific and exclusive wave to ride anytime?

12) Do you think you would utilize, or do you see the benefit of being able to purchase video and/or still photos of you surfing at the surf park?

13) What do you think it would be worth to you...c'mon, give me your best guess... for an all day pass to Surf City Texas (never get dropped in on, surf any day of the week, long rides, etc...)? Don't forget...skateparks don't have moving water and ridable waves, all existing waterparks with wave pools are not designed to be surfed in by any means, and your best, most exclusive health club in town can't work those surfing muscles or hone those skills like the simple act of surfing can.
One all day pass should cost>>>

14) If you could pick any budget/economical type restaurant, that you like and you think would blend nicely into this theme, which one would it be?
My budget/economical restaurant would be>>>

15) What up-scale type restaurant, with a water-sports/surfing theme or motif, can you think of that you would like to see at Surf City Texas?
My up-scale restaurant would be>>>

16) Is there anything about this project that you have already heard of or read about that you would suggest needs re-thinking?

17) What ONE idea do you have that you would like us to consider, and you think would help make Surf City Texas a complete surf park?

18) Have you ever personally surfed in any wavepool, and if so, which one and what was your experience like?

19) Do you think that surf-parks in general could have any negative impact(s) on the sport of surfing, and if so, what might it/they be?
